Exhaused
Trimming pots between rest times.
Maybe Iet myself down some. I did not get done as much as I wanted as I just felt exhaused. I was able to get the raku pots trimmed but still have bowls to make and also need to put handles on mugs. All of that will need to be done tomorrow night after work.
For some reason I always put myself on a tight scedule and then need to rush thungs through to get them done on time. However coming off the last rotation of twelve hour night shift took somewhat of a toll on me. All I felt like doing is sleeping.
Tomorrow is a new day. Things will move on and time will pass. What we thought important may not be in the grand scheme of things. Maybe today making pots were not all that important. The world did not end. Rain still fell from the sky and the sun set at the end of the day.
My dad stopped by for a chat. It sure was nice to see him. My wife made dinner from the vegetables out of our garden. Maybe today was to be a day of rest. Maybe tomorrow I will get to make the pots I should have made today. We will see.
If I were living yesterday a second time: I would have made a few pots and handled mugs but felt exhaused.
Things I am grateful for: My ability to still make work eventhough the work at big paper factory has me exhaused at times.
If I get to live to be 86, I might only have: 12605 days left.

rest is as important as doing - sometimes more so 😉
If I get to live to be 86, I might only have: 12605 days left- It really feels like a different thing when you count it down like that
